TANDIE MCLEOD 

Tandie is a visual artist and educator from Edmonton, Canada now making her home in Brussels. Under the aegis of vzw “Rest for the Wicked” she and her husband Ewout D’Hoore collaborate creatively for projects in participatory arts. She studied Art and Design at the University of Alberta where she earned her BFA in painting and sculpture and BA in English Literature. In the past she has worked extensively in the arts as a creative facilitator in schools and hospitals, most notably in the “Artist on the Wards” program at the University Alberta Hospital, where she worked bedside with patients.

For the past six years, she has been the creative engine for the Brussels art studio “The Green Brush”, (link the green brush) which welcomes both adults and children for weekly art workshops. Currently when not working at the studio she develops touring art workshops for schools and surrounding community organisations.
