PARTICIPATORY ART PRACTICES AND FAILURE PART 2

Participatory art practices are omnipresent today and internationally there is reference to a 'participatory turn in the arts’. In this reflection day about participatory art practices and failure we try to look into how failure can create fertile ground for new beginnings.

We want to explore what the challenges are underneath this apparent success story and where we should go from here? We focus on the intersections of failure and participatory art practices and hope to give some depth and clarity to a field that seems to be growing in value and momentum.
